His cutie mark is a simple connection map, often mistaken for the constellation of Aries, drawn in colored dots connected by black lines.
It's a representation of how he's able to collect information and bring them together - with evidence or through intuitive leaps. It references to the pin and string method of establishing connections between different pools of information (often seen on television investigations) and a reference to his ADHD, as it isn't the neatest method of sorting information.
