30.) And finally: Write a letter to your character, from yourself.

Hey dude,

I don’t have much to say, just that you try to remember this: Never regret being human. For some you hang around with, it’s something that makes you easy to overlook and ignore. Dismissed even; it is baseline normal – nothing special about it. In fact, you may as well be operating with a handicap. Yes, that's true, and it keeps you sidelined, but at the same time - because you don't have the same means to fall back on - you've had to make your own way with what you've got.

Which isn't the same as having another set of instincts and supernatural power, and isn't the same as hunter training. But you've got your father's sense of justice, a dogged persistence and determination enough to move mountains. That, combined with the knowledge of just what could be out there and an amazing ability to find connections has gotten you a long way already.

Maybe you think of it as doing your job, maybe it's just you, doing your part to keep your people safe. A concrete reason isn't needed for you to keep doing it.

28.) If your character’s life was a genre, what would it be?

An urban paranormal crime drama, with emphasis on paranormal and drama.

26.) Second day of favorites! Favorite comfort food, favorite vice, favorite outfit, favorite hot drink, favorite time of year, and favorite holiday.

Comfort food: Corkscrew spaghetti with a simple tomato sauce and a ton of cheese.

Vice: His habit of chewing on things.

Outfit: Hahahahahahahahahaha. Ha. Ha. Ha. That blue and green plaid shirt thrown over the t-shirt with the facehuggers***. And pants with pockets.

Hot drink: Hot chocolate plus. Which is to say, hot chocolate made from scratch on a stove top, with extra ingredients that are not to be shared.

Time of year: That bit of time when fall fades into winter, usually around the first frost that lasts well into the morning.

Holiday: New Years, he’d always liked the staying up late bit of it.

24.) What might your character’s ideal romantic partner be?

I haven't really thought about this too much. But have rambles.

(Ideally, the relationship would be like what his dad had with his mom, because they worked well with each other – fights and all. But that doesn’t answer the question, so...)

Since people aren’t like shopping lists, you can’t just pick and choose how they are - he knows this - but an ideal partner would be intelligent, able to keep up with him when he goes off on tangents (or just has wild, crazy ideas), has a sense of humor, and at least a little bit mean - in that they don’t put up with his shit and bloody well will speak their mind about it. It will help if they have a competitive streak. Also, good looks won’t hurt.

Obviously, any feelings would be mutual, and they’ll have to be able to get along with his friends and family.

Or we can look at his nearly life-long crush on Lydia Martin.

22) If your character could time travel, where would they go?

Really, the question should be when. Semantics aside, he'll likely want to go into the future rather than somewhere into the past. History is great and all, but um, there's always the question of what could be changed. (Not that there aren't things that could change, but it's a huge what if.)

Seriously, looking into the far future would be cool, like is a dystopian future inevitable? What types of technology have been developed? Is space travel for the masses possible now? All questions that should be answered. For science.
